Vacancies are filled in cooperation between the HR department and the relevant specialist department. Your data may therefore be exchanged within the organization. Kindernothilfe takes security precautions to protect your data managed by us against manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons or unauthorized disclosure. Our security measures are constantly being improved in line with technological developments. 

Applying for jobs at Kindernothilfe
By applying for a job with us, you are providing us with your personal data. This data is only accessible to Kindernothilfe employees who are responsible for filling this vacancy. This means that only employees from the HR department, the relevant specialist department and the employee representatives will have access to your documents. All our employees involved in the application process and the third parties involved in data processing are obliged to handle personal data confidentially in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO) and the Data Protection Act of the Protestant Church (DSG-EKD). 

Unsolicited application
In contrast to an application for an advertised position, you provide us with your personal data in an unsolicited application for consideration for different positions. Your documents may therefore be forwarded to several specialist departments. 

Inclusion in an application pool 
If we have not found a suitable position for you after completing the application process, we may invite you to join our Kindernothilfe talent pool by e-mail and ask for your consent. If you agree to this invitation, your personal data and documents will be stored in our system for up to two years and checked for new positions. 

Declaration of consent
By submitting your application, you agree to your data being stored and used as part of the application process described above. 

Right of withdrawal and deletion of your personal data
You have the right to check, delete and correct all your personal data stored in our online application system. If you receive a rejection, withdraw your application or revoke your membership of our talent pool, your data will be automatically anonymized or deleted after six months at the latest.

Processing of (personal) data by the operator of the recruitment website

General information

This recruitment website is operated by Personio SE & Co. KG, which offers a human resource and candidate management software solution (https://www.personio.com/legal-notice/). Data transmitted as part of your application will be transferred using TLS encryption and stored in a database. The sole controller of this data within the meaning of article 24 of the GDPR is the enterprise carrying out this online application process. Personio’s role is limited to operating the software and this recruitment website and, in this context, being a processor under article 28 of the GDPR. In this case, the processing by Personio is based on an agreement for the processing of orders between the controller and Personio. In addition, Personio SE & Co. KG processes further data, some of which may be personal data, to provide its services, in particular for operating this recruitment website. We will refer to this in more detail below.

Access logs (“server logs”)

Error logs

This is absolutely necessary to ensure we can react as quickly as possible to possible problems with displaying and implementing content (legitimate interest). As a rule, this data is a pseudonym and thus does not allow for inferences about the identity of an individual. The legal basis for this is §25 subsection 2 Sentence 2 TDDDG. When an error message occurs, general data such as the domain name of the website, the web browser and web-browser version, the operating system, the IP address, as well as the timestamp upon occurrence of the respective error message and/or specification is collected. These error logs are stored for a period of up to 7 days. There is no right to object to this.
